Below are the answers to frequently asked questions regarding waste pressure and Pressure Core. Should you require further information not addressed in this section, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How do I know if the gas flow through my pressure letdown station creates a viable waste pressure project? Pressure Core offers a no commitment Waste Pressure Analysis for any organization interested in exploring the viability of their waste pressure resources. To complete our Waste Pressure Analysis, we only require high-level gas flow data that includes volume of gas flow, pressure reduction ratio and hours of gas flow per year.

What happens to the existing pressure letdown station? To ensure safe and constant operation we install our waste pressure power system in parallel to the existing pressure letdown station. This creates failsafe to ensure gas will still flow should there be an issue with our system.

Can hydrogen waste pressure be harnessed? Yes! The principles of waste pressure apply to hydrogen for power generation.

How do you pre-heat gas? Pressure Core uses heat pumps, waste heat, or a line heater if necessary, to pre-heat gas and deliver it at the existing temperature.

How are waste pressure projects funded? Pressure Core secures long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) to generate the revenue needed to meet investor return requirements. These PPAs can be with host customers, on-site data centers or facilities, local utilities, or wholesale power markets.

Why use third-party capital? Third-party capital allows our host customers to reduce emissions without bearing the costs. This lets them focus their resources on core business activities with higher returns. Project investors provide lower-cost capital to fund development.

Do we have to use third-party capital to complete a project with Pressure Corp? No, your waste pressure project can be funded using your own capital.

How reliable is Pressure Core's waste pressure power system? Pressure Core partners only with reputable manufacturers. Our ΔDELTA systems are expected to operate for 20+ years.

Why is it worth reevaluating our potential opportunity for waste pressure if my organization has completed studies in the past? Economic changes, new methane and emissions regulations, new funding options, and the availability of low-cost capital have all increased the benefits of waste pressure.
